WattWise AI – Service terms

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Who these terms are for

These terms apply when you use the WattWise AI website, the browser demo, or buy a paid report from us (including the €29 solar savings check for homeowners and landlords, and done-for-you reports for businesses). By ordering a paid service you agree to these terms. Business customers who use installer white-label also agree the Data Processing Agreement at /legal/dpa/.

2. The service

WattWise AI turns electricity usage and cost figures you provide (and optional solar generated/exported kWh) into a clear report: usage, cost, a solar self-use estimate when the data allow it, and three plain tips. The browser demo calculates on your device. Paid done-for-you reports are prepared from the figures you send us (for example by email).

3. Estimates only — not advice

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter or send. They are not:

Savings are not guaranteed. Tips are plain suggestions only. Results vary by tariff, weather, equipment and behaviour. Do not change inverter, meter or grid settings from a tip — ask a qualified installer. WattWise AI is an automated tool; reports can be incomplete and are not written by a person as personalised advice (EU AI Act Art. 50).

4. Prices and payment

Pilot prices (Ben, 5 Nov 2026; subject to Joao's OK before any public offer):

VAT

Payment provider: [CONFIRM: name of checkout provider before first paid order]. If a business payment is over 14 days late, we may suspend work after notice.

5. Consumer right of withdrawal (€29 check and other B2C digital services)

If you are a consumer (not acting for a business), Portuguese DL 24/2014 and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of the contract, without giving a reason.

How to withdraw: email teamaijj@mail.grokbot.com within 14 days with a clear statement (you may use the model form in the Annex). We refund using the same means of payment within 14 days of receiving your notice, unless the law requires otherwise.

When the right is lost: for a service that starts during the withdrawal period, the right is lost if the service is fully performed after you made an express prior request and acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal once the service was fully performed (DL 24/2014 art. 17; UK CCR 2013 reg. 36). Checkout must include a clear consent checkbox for this before we start a paid report that you want delivered within 14 days. If you withdraw after asking us to start but before full performance, you may owe a proportionate amount for what was already provided.

6. Your figures and uploads

7. Data protection

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to mislead people, to infringe others' rights, to try to break or overload the service, or to resell it without our written OK. Do not upload unlawful content.

9. Liability

Our total liability under the contract is capped at the fees you paid for the service that gave rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim (or, for a one-off check, the price of that check). We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or lost data that you could have restored. Nothing limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Mandatory consumer protections are not overridden.

10. Changes

We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by email or a notice on the site. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. For consumers, changes that worsen your position need your agreement or apply only to new orders.

11. Law, courts, ADR and complaints

Portuguese law applies. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, the courts of the Comarca de Lisboa have jurisdiction. UK clients keep any protections that mandatory UK law (including UK GDPR) gives them.

Alternative dispute resolution (consumers): you may use an ADR entity. In Portugal, the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC) and other entities listed by the Direção-Geral do Consumidor may help. The European Commission ODR platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (availability as published by the Commission).

Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico: consumers in Portugal may use the electronic complaints book at https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt/.
